We work by educating the public about the ecological crises and by assisting motivated local groups form social movements for radical change. Our staff have more than 50 years of experience with activism and building social movements, and have studied ecology, climate science, media, politics, and public speaking.

At Fertile Ground, we specialize in passionate public speaking informed by history and the latest environmental science. We are available for speaking engagements on request.

Community Building

Creating communities that support, advocate, and engage in political resistance is the first concrete step that we can take as an aboveground (legal) movement. Tell your friends. Find allies. Develop a community. Show videos, hold discussion groups, give speeches, and challenge the industrial and economic power structures in your area.
